Our Maintenance Team helps keep our hotels looking brilliant by making sure everything works as it should and fixing the things that don’t.
The Maintenance Team help keep our hotels in good working order. As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll get all the tools you need to do your job well, plus the opportunity to develop your skills whilst being paid for the ones you already have. You’ll work closely with the Hotel Managers and your colleagues to support a group of hotels in getting rooms fixed and ready to welcome our next customers.

Through developing strong working relationships with their teams and hotels, our Maintenance Supervisors help coach and develop their teams to deliver a consistent high standard across the jobs they are working on.

Joseph Aherne, is the District Maintenance Manager for the London Flagship and Principal districts, overseeing two Maintenance Managers, a team of 22 Engineers, and 2 Carpet Fitters. Starting as a Maintenance Supervisor in the South East five years ago, Joe worked his way up, progressing through roles such as Senior Supervisor in London Central and Maintenance Delivery Manager for South West before COVID-19. After the lockdown, he returned to the London district and eventually assumed his current position. Joe Aherne
